Do you really want to lose weight permanently? Here's your answer...

One of the key goals of the JOOS Cleanse is to establish mindfulness or, simply put, abiding to the present moment. In the context of food, if we're mindful, or present, we do not overeat from frustration, depression, emptiness, deficiency or loneliness. We eat because we're hungry.

Often, being present requires nothing more than a PAUSE. Before you open the refrigerator or cupboard doors, take a moment to feel if you're eating out of hunger or from an emotion.

Sometimes, though, the emotional sensation of loneliness, frustration, anger, etc. is so poignant that we are unable to control ourselves. As a result, we overeat and then we feel even worse.

This is why we turn to the JOOS Cleanse: it's our emotional reboot to get us back on track to healthy eating habits. Notice how I say "habits," because eating "well" encompasses WHAT foods we eat and HOW we eat those foods:

The WHAT means:
Are you eating a diet of 70% alkaline forming foods?
Are 90% of the foods you eat whole foods?
Are you drinking enough water?

The HOW means:
Do you pause before you eat?
Do you chew your foods?
Are you snacking all day long?
Are your portion sizes too big?

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the JOOS Cleanse. JOOS would love to support you on your journey to get to the root of why you've developed the bad eating patterns and how to establish healthy eating habits.

As always, I'd also love to hear your comments!
